Service Description
Planet Positive Sport is a web-based platform operated by Planet Positive Sport d.o.o. that enables sporting event organizers, local organizing committees (LOCs), sustainability experts, and suppliers to measure, improve, and certify the environmental impact of sporting events. The platform provides sustainability assessment questionnaires, document management, expert review workflows, and certification reporting.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements to use this platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements. If you are registering on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Account Responsibilities
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account with others
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose and not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in sustainability assessments
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that you are not authorized to use
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation, security, or availability
- Misrepresent your identity, role, or affiliation with any organization
Intellectual Property
The platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of Planet Positive Sport d.o.o. and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the data, documents, and responses you submit through the platform. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as necessary to provide the service. We will not use your content for purposes beyond service delivery without your consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation
- We do not warrant that sustainability assessments or certifications will meet any particular regulatory or third-party requirements beyond the scope of our methodology
- Planet Positive Sport d.o.o.'s total liability for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
Termination
Either party may terminate access to the platform under the following conditions:
- You may request account deletion at any time through the platform or by contacting us
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law
- Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We will handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Slovenia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the platform shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
